Another year has now come and gone. there has been a ton of changes around here (most of which you are seeing right now), but i also had a lot of change personally. this year has really been the tipping point for my business… which has now taken on a life of its own. my son is now a year older, and a year closer to teenage rebellion. etc.

my personal list (in no particular order)….
The good:

- Obama winning the 2008 election
- Getting a new 3G iPhone
- Finally getting another provider so i can ditch comcast

The not so good:

- Watching the Aggies get the ever living shit beat out of them all year.
- watching my investments lose over 70% of their worth
- preparing to be ass raped by the IRS in the next few months

‘Sex chip’ being developed by scientists

The chip works by sending tiny shocks from implanted electrodes in the brain.

The technology has been used in the United States to treat Parkinson’s disease.

But in recent months scientists have been focusing on the area of the brain just behind the eyes known as the orbitofrontal cortex – this is associated with feelings of pleasure derived from eating and sex.

A research survey conducted by Morten Kringelbach, senior fellow at Oxford University’s department of psychiatry, found the orbitofrontal cortex could be a “new stimulation target” to help people suffering from anhedonia, an inability to experience pleasure from such activities. His findings are reported in the Nature Reviews Neuroscience journal.
